Why Choose a Dental School

The CU School of Dental Medicine provides more than 100,000 clinical visits each year at our state-of-the-art facility on the Anschutz Medical Campus and across the state of Colorado. The school provides high-quality care just like a great private practice, but there are some differences and many advantages.

When you’re a patient in the CU Dental clinics, you receive the highest standards of care based on the latest techniques and technology in dentistry. Our dental students and residents work with expert faculty and specialists to provide you with the best dental care possible.

Fees are up to 50 percent less than local private practices. While each patient's cost will vary, these examples show typical savings:

Average Private Practice Student Clinic Fees
Dentures $1600-2000 Dentures $500-700
Root Canals $900-1200 Root Canals $300-500
Crowns $900-1500 Crown $500-700

CU Dental offers comprehensive care for all your dental needs. With board-certified prosthodontists, periodontists, oral surgeons, general dentists and more under one roof, we provide services ranging from fillings, crowns and orthodontics to dentures, implants and even oral surgery all in one convenient location.
