The CU General Practice Residency Clinic on the Anschutz Medical Campus provides patients with advanced, comprehensive treatment. Our dentists deliver care for all patients in and around the Denver Metropolitan Area, including those with medical, mental, or physical complexities. Treatment at this clinic is offered by our recently graduated general dentists who are continuing their clinical training under the supervision of expert faculty.

Our General Dentistry Services

The comprehensive dental services our General Practice Residency Clinic provides include:

 

  • Cosmetic Dentistry—bonding, tooth-colored fillings, teeth whitening, and veneers.

  • Endodontics—root canals.

  • Hospital Dentistry—we work with several of the hospital services to treat the dental needs of medically complex patients, in and out of the hospital. Our dental clinic also has the ability to take patients to the operating room with the aid of general anesthesia.

  • Implant Dentistry—complex dental care, restorations of multiple implants with fixed/removable prosthetics, and surgical replacement of teeth.

  • Oral Surgery—extractions and wisdom teeth removal.

  • Periodontics—gum disease treatment.

  • Removable Prosthodontics—dentures (partial and complete).

  • Restorative Dentistry—crowns, bridges, and fillings.

  • Sedation Dentistry—IV sedation, oral sedation, and nitrous oxide gas.

What to Expect

Make your health a priority. *Schedule a free dental screening exam and X-rays with our CU General Practice Residency Clinic. The type of x-ray (radiograph) is dependent on diagnostic need.
*This promotion applies only to new CU Dental patients.

 

Your appointment will be supervised by highly-skilled faculty to ensure you receive the best possible dental care. You can expect affordable, high-quality dental services with fees that are typically 25-50% less than those at a private practice.

 

What to Bring

Save time at your first appointment by having the right materials with you.
  • A written referral from your dentist (for limited care only).
  • Completed patient forms.
  • Current x-rays from within the past two years from your dental provider should be emailed to  CUDT@ucdenver.edu  (this email is not for referrals).
  • Insurance/Health First Colorado (formerly Medicaid) card.

 

The General Practice Residency Clinic accepts cash, checks with valid ID, debit cards, credit cards, and Health First Colorado (formerly Medicaid). We are also a Delta Dental in-network provider, but the school will accept other forms of dental insurance as an out-of-network provider as well. We are not accepting BEAM insurance at this time. We also do not accept Medicare or medical insurance at this time.

 

We are always available to help you with your dental insurance claims and paperwork, and we are happy to work with your insurance provider to make sure you understand your insurance benefits. You can also pay your bill online
