Dr. Klint Butler is a board-certified orthodontic specialist. He currently serves as a full-time Assistant Professor (C/T) and Director of Clinical Operations in the Orthodontic Graduate Program at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. Prior to this appointment Dr. Butler worked for over 16 years as an orthodontic specialist in private practice. During this time, he treated a wide spectrum of orthodontic problems in approximately 5000 patients. These cases included, but not limited to:
- Phase I interceptive therapy
- Growth modification and dentofacial orthopedics
- Simple tooth alignment
- Comprehensive tooth alignment and bite correction
- Surgical orthodontics (e.g., orthodontic alignment combined with surgical jaw correction; impacted teeth; cleft lip and palate; laser soft tissue and gingival contouring; tooth extraction cases; temporary anchorage devices)
- Advanced clear aligner therapy with Invisalign
- Passive self-ligating braces
- Orthodontic Consultant for the UNMC Cleft Palate Team
