Ye Shi BDS, MS, FACD, FICD

Dr. Ye Shi received her BDS degree from Nanjing Medical University in China, 2011, then completed a 3-year post-graduate residency and accomplished her master’s degree of Prosthodontics in Pecking Union Medical College, China, 2014. Afterward, she came to the United States for further training. She first completed the Advanced Program for International Dentists in Implant Dentistry at NYU College of Dentistry from 2014 to 2017. Thereupon, she had her 3-year periodontal training in the Advanced Education Program of Periodontics at NYU College of Dentistry and graduated in 2020.

Dr. Shi is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry, a Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI), a Fellow of both the International College of Dentists (ICD) and the American College of Dentists (ACD). She serves as a Secretary of the Northeastern Society of Periodontists (NESP) and maintains membership of multiple organizations such as the American Association of Periodontology (AAP), International Team for Implantology (ITI), Academy of Osseointegration (AO) and  Northeastern Society of Periodontists (NESP). She has been invited to lecture nationally and internationally, participating in meetings and symposiums worldwide. She has received numerous awards for her clinical research and has been published in peer-reviewed journals.

Dr. Shi is currently a clinical associate professor in the Division of Periodontics, Department of Diagnostic Sciences and Surgical Dentistry, at the University of Colorado Anschutz School of Dental Medicine.
