Born on a pig farm in Minnesota, Dr. Parsons attended Colorado State University for his undergraduate education and graduated from the CU Anschutz School of Dental Medicine. He spent seven years in the Air Force and completed an AEGD and Endodontic Residency program. He spent 16 years in private practice in Parker and Boulder, Colorado. He started teaching part time in 2017 and full time in 2018. Dr. Parsons is married with four children and one grand daughter. He enjoys spending time on the lake, fishing and boating with family and friends.
