Dental Team Care Clinic

University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine

The CU Dental Team Care Clinic provides affordable, quality dental care at discounted rates. Located on the Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, CO, our clinic is a teaching facility where dental students provide treatments under the supervision of highly-skilled faculty. Because our experienced faculty oversees all aspects of treatment, you can expect high-quality care just like at a private dental practice but at significantly discounted rates.

What to Expect

Free Screening Exam

Make your health a priority. *Schedule a free dental screening exam and X-rays with our CU Dental Team Care Clinic. The type of x-ray (radiograph) is dependent on diagnostic need.

*This promotion applies only to new CU Dental patients.

You may bring your x-rays from another dental provider as long as they were taken within the past two years. It is important to have current images to get a clear idea of your oral health.

Extra Appointment Time

Because the CU Dental Care Team Clinic is one of our student provider clinics, specific steps in the appointment will require approval from an experienced faculty member before the dental student can continue. This can make the process take longer than a typical dental appointment, but you will still receive high-quality dental care.

The extra appointment time allows you to get expert opinions from multiple dental professionals. To allow enough time for the teaching process, we schedule appointments as three-hour sessions.

Lower Fees

The CU Dental Care Team Clinic is the perfect choice for residents in the Denver Metro Area looking for affordable dental care. With fees typically 30-50% lower than private practices, our clinic is a great option for patients without insurance and those whose insurance doesn’t cover the dental services they need.

If you’re in need of affordable patient care, contact the CU Dental Team Care Clinic. We offer a wide range of comprehensive dental services to help improve your oral health. No matter your dental needs, you can expect high-quality compassionate care from our team of dental students and faculty professionals. Call 303-724-2273 today to schedule a screening appointment.

Bringing all the necessary materials to your first appointment will ensure your visit goes as smoothly and quickly as possible. Don’t forget to bring the following items:

  • Completed patient forms.
  • Insurance/Health First Colorado (formerly Medicaid) card.
  • Current x-rays from within the past two years from your dental provider, which should be emailed to CUDT@ucdenver.edu (this email is not for referrals).
  • A list of your current medications and dosage information.

The CU Dental Team Care Clinic accepts cash, checks with valid ID, debit cards, credit cards, and Health First Colorado (formerly Medicaid). We are also a Delta Dental in-network provider and will accept other forms of dental insurance as an out-of-network provider as well. We are not accepting BEAM insurance at this time. We currently do not accept Medicare or payment plans.

We are always available to help you with insurance claims and paperwork, and we are happy to work with your insurance provider to make sure you understand your insurance benefits. You can also conveniently make your bill payments online. Keep in mind that regardless of your insurance status, you are responsible for timely payments of any fees
